Moroccan poufs, pillows

In Moroccan tribes, anything old and valuable is rarely thrown away: if a rug is damaged, it’s transformed into a pouf or pillow cover. Our multifunctional poufs can be used as footrests, meditation cushion, patio decor, or all of the above. Your kids and four-legged friends will love them, too.

Classic Beni Ourain poufs
If you’d like to add a little softness to your home, this poufs might be the perfect addition! It could work well with any rug as well as it provides a little extra texture to the space. It is made from a Beni Ourain rug, that gives it both beauty and timeless appeal. We also love the recycling concept behind Berber floor pillows: rugs with some damage get a chance at a new life as floor pillow, extending their lifespan and reducing the impact on the environment.
Polka dot Berber floor cushion
Everyone’s favourite polka dot rug now comes in the form of a floor cushion too. If you like to spend time on the floor: working while sitting on the floor, or sitting on a cushion while watching a movie, then this item is something you’ll be very happy with. Poufs are also very popular with pets, so don’t be surprised if they snatch it away from you the first second you’re not looking!

Pouf with hearts and rainbows
We're crazy about this rainbow and heart themed floor pillow. It's got everything you need, the wear and tear of age suits it very well. It's made from vintage Azilal rug, and accordingly the natural wool base has been paired with colourful cotton and man-made fibre patterning yarns when knotted. The patina of age suits it very well.

Unusual for Boucherouites, this pouf is made with rather restrained, pastel colours (combined with some more dominant shades), and has a diamond-mesh pattern. In its past life, it functioned as a Boucherouite rug but now it has a second shot at life as a floor cushion. (It is a sustainable as it can be: the rug itself was knotted of upcycled textiles.) It is looking for a loving new home, where it can serve as seating, lumbar support or pet bed.
