From the timeless and timely "This Old House" Magazine, in it's March, 2002 issue, this attractive potting shed prompted one reader to make it the very first project she ever built. She left off the cupola, but otherwise it was almost a perfect match. Now that's inspiration! I definitely don't think of this as a beginner project, but good for her for doing it!
