How To Propagate Spider Plants With Plantlets Propagating spider plants is very easy. You only need some plantlets (spider plant babies, spiderettes) and soil. Choose plantlets that are bigger and have some nodes on their bottom. That is where the roots will grow from. The more nodes it has the easier it will root. Place the spider plant babies into soil, gently push their center into the soil. You can start watering them right away. The spiderettes will root in a month.

VIDEO - There were two flowers on my orchid that I was able to pollinate successfully. The first seed pod has ripened. In the video you can see from closer how a ripe orchid seed pod looks like. The seed pod needed 4 months to be ripe. The seed pod turned from green to yellow in color and it opened up shortly after that.
