Look at that. You want the flaky biscuits. That way you can separate them and open them right up just like that. Now that we have those biscuits open, let's grab ourselves a little bit of breakfast sausage and we are just going to spoon in a scoopful of sausage into the middle of these biscuits. Oh my goodness, you guys. I can't wait to try these. We are going to have some delicious, easy breakfast food right here. A fun little way to eat breakfast and little bite size, kind of a finger food breakfast I guess you could say. Here we go. Perfect. We are going to add a little bit of some cheese on top of that. I'm choosing some Monterey Jack but you could pick whatever cheese you would like. I don't know what would you say would go best with breakfast sausage. I thought a little Jack would be quite delicious. Mm more pepper jack. Yeah that sounds good too huh? I knew you would say that. I love cheese. What's your guys favorite country? We know you love cheese. Alright, you guys. Check that out. Now, we're going to take this top layer and we're going to kind of widen it out a little bit to make it just a little bit bigger so we can push it all over that filling that we just did. Wow, look how easy that is. You just stretch it and fold it right over and it fits right in there like a little pod and we're just going to do this all the way down and make sure that we close those all up just by stretching making it bigger and folding it all over the top oh these are looking so cute little breakfast pockets what do you guys think about that mmm I think it's going to be so delicious okay so we have that we're just going to take our spoon here that we use for our sausage and what we want to do is we just want to push around the edges here almost kind of looks like a pierogi or something. You guys know what a pierogi is? I don't know out here in the desert. People don't eat pierogies as much but I am German and Hungarian and Polish. So we all know that we eat a lot of pierogies. Alright, look how cute these little pockets are coming. This is so easy you guys. I'm just pushing down the edges here right here with my spoon. Looks like everything is tucked in so nicely. We just want to seal that up so we make sure that stays sealed during the time when we cook these bad boys in the oven. Okay. Grab yourself an egg and we're just cracking one egg right here. Let's see if I can almost do it one handed. Some days are better than others, huh? And I'm just going to add a little bit of water to that and whipping this all together just making our egg wash here. I just use a little bit of water and one egg. I know some people do it a little bit differently. How do you do? Do you do it differently than in one egg and water? That looks good and whipped up to me. Let's grab our little brush here and we're just going to brush some egg all over the pocket of these cute little breakfast pockets. Ooh, these are going to be savory, tasty, bite size. I made these for my kids the other week and they were like, mom, can you make those for us again? So, that's a good sign. Kids love em. Can grab em as you're out the door. Okay, we got one more to go here. Perfect. Lastly, we're going to top those off with a little bit of everything bagel seasoning just to kind of savor and flavor up these breakfast pockets. Oh my gosh, you guys. These are so easy and look at how cute they look. Oh and they're going to taste even better. Oh my goodness. That's it right there. This is all you gotta do you guys. I'm going to stick these in the oven at 350 for 12 minutes and they should be good. I'll let you know if it takes any longer but stick around. Ooh, they're going to be tasty. While our biscuits are finishing up, we're just going to add two cups of water and some of this country gravy right here. Whisk it all up. Okay. Before that even starts to cook anymore. I have a little bit of leftover sausage here from the biscuits and I'm just going to pour that all right there into the gravy before it even thickens up because I want all that added flavor. Ooh, right into that mix. So we're just going to let this sit, boil, and thicken up and it should be done in just about right time for our biscuit pockets to be done as well. Oh my goodness you guys. Look at how adorable these look. Oh I love them. Let's go ahead and get these off of this tray here and place them on my plate. I cannot wait to try these and oh my gosh I just look at how good everything stayed together. And dipping it in this sausage gravy I know is going to be delicious. Whoo. Do I sound excited? Cuz I am. Mm hmm. In case you couldn't tell. Let's slide these over here you guys. Wow. Yummy. Yummy. Yummy. Alright. Let's see. This is really what I want to see. I want to dig in to this biscuit right here. Ooh it's a little warm. Look at the sausage and the cheese inside. And now we're just going to take it. We're going to dunk it right in here. Let's just get some of that chunky sausage gravy. Mm. Wow. This is so good. Oh my gosh. Look at that inside. It just fits in there perfectly. Mmm I love the seasoning on top. The egg wash kind of seals it all in. Seriously, this is so good and you just pick it up. Good to go. Yum.
