Pill bugs in a pose. These belong to the family, Armadillidium, meaning "little armored one." They are crustaceans, creatures that first appeared some 500 million years ago. Shrimp and hermit crabs are also crustaceans.

All u can eat- Pillbugs/Land Shrimp. known as sowbugs or woodlice. The better tasting ones are the ones that roll into a ball. The non-rolling sowbugs are foul smelling n tasting.

Very interesting! These are Pentatomoidea, commonly known as shield bugs or stink bugs. Shield bugs have glands in their thorax between the first and second pair of legs which produce a foul smelling liquid. This liquid is used defensively to deter potential predators and is sometimes released when the bugs are handled carelessly.
