Oddly, it seems like some of the wax never comes off the egg, or stains it slightly darker. This is especially noticeable in the Goose Egg. But, having done 100s of eggs, I've never noticed that before. Also, "blue" eggs aren't really blue, they're just not brown, which is usually all we have around here.
