I took a walk from Yanaka all the way back to my home in Akihabara. My route, taken at random, took me from Yanaka through Nezu and then Ueno. This area is very "shitamachi" part of Tokyo. There are still even a number of stores like this one in older wood buildings where the goods are displayed right inside the door and the craftsman sits on the floor just behind making something new.
