Hieroglyphics- Part of a sequence of art lessons on Ancient Egypt. Children make papyrus using brown parcel paper, watered down PVA glue and apply to A3 card. Apply strips of paper horizontally and vertically to give an uneven effect. For writing their names children sketch in pencil and use oil pastels for adding colour. A worthwhile and enjoyable activity for KS2 children.
