Lolly's - IT'S 6 WEEKS UNTIL CHRISTMAS DAY! 🎅🎄⭐️ The countdown is on! 🤭🎄 Save this 'Tear & Share Chocolate Christmas Tree' if you've never made one before. This would be perfect for get-togethers or an extra little something for Christmas Day! ✨️ It is so easy to make just using puff pastry and nutella and only takes 20 minutes in the oven! ❤️ RECIPE - Serves 6 Ingredients 🛒 • 2 Rectangular Puff Pastry Sheets • 1Jar (400g/14oz) Nutella/Chocolate Spread • 1 Egg for egg wash • Smarties/M&M's (decoration) • Icing Sugar/Powdered Sugar (dusting) Method: 1. Preheat oven to 200C/400F. 2. Leave the first sheet of pastry on its baking paper and spread nutella on top. Cover with the second sheet of pastry. 3. Cut out the shape of the tree; Start by cutting the tree from top to bottom. Don't go all the way down to the corner making it a point like the top, leave 1-inch above the corner edge. Place it in the freezer for 15 minutes before cutting the branches, (this way it will be much easier to cut through the pastry without pulling it and to twist the branches without dirtying everything). 4. Cut 13 branches. Twist and turn 2 times towards the top of the tree, then as you lay it down press the edge of the branch down onto the paper. 5. Brush the pastry with beaten egg and bake in oven for about 20 minutes, until golden. Remove from oven and leave to cool. 6. Dust with icing sugar and decorate with smarties. Dot a little nutella onto the smartie and stick it on to the tree. Be sure to stick a lot of smarties as they make it taste so more delicious! Enjoy! 😊 | Facebook
