AT-AT Imperial Walker Build

I decided that Halloween 2017 would be the year to build a replica AT-AT in my front yard. A big one. Not as big as a real one, but one that would make people do double takes. If anyone wants to make their own and needs more guidance, let me know . Have seen the one in Parma, Ohio and photos of a couple that were built in England that are also impressive. There is also a youtube video of a guy that built one for his kids that you can get up inside of as well. Good luck, and go big or go home!

"Stewie", as he came to known, the morning after the storm. 60 mile per hour winds were more than he could handle. After the wind started and the power went out, Stewie swayed for a minute, lost his head, and came to rest against our house. Had I built him another 2' away, he would have probably come through the front window. RIP.
Back view of the neck assembly. Just 2' x 4's, 2' high and 4' long. Pieces at the front angled to get the head to face the street. The angle piece was the one that failed during the wind storm, and ripped off entirely.
View of the backside. Clearly shows that the middle section has no roof- no one would see it, so I left it off
Back of one of the legs. Shows that it is just a facade and not built for the test of time.
