BOOK OF GALATIANS!!!!!!!
The book of Galatians is one of my favorite books of the bible. It is very clear that the Apostle Paul wanted to help the Galatians get it right. He wanted them to see the importance of not falling for every false teacher or lie that came by, but to focus instead on God approval (Galatians 1:10). For followers of Christ, sometimes, this can be easier said than done. Our emotions, feelings, experiences, and even our culture at large can have us getting distracted and completing neglecting to ...
Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. 18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
Galatians 5:13 For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love. 14 For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
2:11 But when Peter came to Antioch, I had to oppose him to his face, for what he did was very wrong. 12 When he first arrived, he ate with the Gentile Christians, who were not circumcised. But afterward, when some friends of James came, Peter wouldn’t eat with the Gentiles anymore. He was afraid of criticism from these people who insisted on the necessity of circumcision. 13 As a result , other Jewish Christians followed Peter’s hypocrisy, and even Barnabas was led astray by their hypocrisy.
Galatians 6:7 Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. 8 Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. 9 So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.
