If you're looking for the perfect cold dessert for July 4th, look no further than this strawberry masterpiece. | By Sean Alexander | Some strawberry pretzel salad. We start with one and 1/ 2 cups of crushed pretzels and we're going to throw in 3/ 4 cup of melted butter in there and then we're going to have four and1/ 2 tablespoons of sugar to it and then we're going to get all that mixed together Alright, now that you have that mixed together, we're going to bring over our 13 by nine baking dish. And put this over the bottom of it. Go ahead, get it smooth all over the bottom of our grease baking dish. Get you a spatula. Make sure try to get it all covered as best you can. Alright y'all we got the oven preheated to three fifty. We're going to throw it in there for just 10 minutes to get it slightly toasted. We're going to bring it back out. So it's been about 10 minutes. Let's take it out. You want to let it cool. Strawberry Christmas salad. Now, we're going to make our cream cheese mixture. We're going to two eight ounce blocks of cream cheese. Cup of sugar, Get that nice and beaten together. Alright, now you got that well beaten together. Go ahead and just get whatever's in there out. Now that we got that and then we're going to fold in some cool whip. Eight ounce packet of koi. Make sure it's thawed and you do this part and just get it folded in. Once you got it nice and blended like that, we just gotta wait for that crust to cool. We're going to throw it over top of that. Alright, so take your cream cheese mixture now that we got it all cooled down. Go ahead and throw it on top of that crust that we made. Kinda smooth it evenly over the top as best you can. Over our cooled crust. Alright, now that we got that nice and smooth over the top, we're going to put it in the fridge for 30 minutes. While that's sitting in the fridge, you want to pour in two cups of boiling water into a large bowl as well as a six ounce package of strawberry shallow put a oh my gosh I can't talk today guys sorry Strawberry gelatin mix. Throw that in there. And then you also want to throw in 16 ounces of strawberry and get all that stirred together until the strawberry are completely fogged. Alright, now that we got that stirred up, let's bring in our cream cheese pretzel base and we're just going to pour this over the top of it. Let's get those strawberry more evenly distributed. Alright. Now, we're going to put this in the fridge for 1 hour. Alright, it's ready. It's been about an hour or so and as you can see, we got some jello on top. So, let's give it a try. Whoa. Look at that. Yum. This would be perfect for July fourth. Look how yummy that looks. Y'all it looks so good. Pretzel crust in there too. Mm mm. Mm mm. And that Pretzel Pretzel. Oh my goodness y'all. Grandma's Chocolate Cobbler! | Grandma's Chocolate Cobbler! | By Charles Parks | Take one and a half sticks of melted butter. Okay. Put in the bottom of your casserole. It's good. The butter is just for taste I guess or. Um yeah butter's good in anything. Butter's good in anything. It looks like it. Yeah. You take a bowl and we're going to two. One and a half cups of self rising. Make sure it's self rising. It's gotta be self-rising. One and a half cups you said? Yes. Okay. But make sure it's self-rising. Don't have that. You don't want your cobbler won't rise. Okay, there's one and a half cups of self-rising flour. Mm hmm. And I need one and one fourth cup. Sugar. Sugar. Okay. With one. And two. And here's the fourth a cup. Mm hmm. Okay. You going to take that and just. Just mix it up. Mix it kind of yeah. Mix it a little bit. Not with that baby. You're going to use yours another one. Mm hmm. Okay and then we're going to put one and three fourths tablespoon of cocoa. Cocoa right here. Hershey's cocoa. I I buy Hershey brand too though. Looks good. And this is a chocolate cobbler we're making. Yes. Chocolate cobbler. It is I've had some. It is delicious. I cannot wait to see what the finished product looks like. Okay so now we get the cobbler. It is going to look good. Cocoa stirred up in here. Coco. Gold. And when you're dealing with these dry ingredients it does fly a little bit. They are. That's fine. Okay and then when you put three fourths cup of whole milk. Whole milk. Okay. Just dump it in there. Dump it in there. Two teaspoons of vanilla. Vanilla. Nice. Mhm. I like that. And Oh, you like vanilla ice cream? This dessert is delicious with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. It really is. Okay, just stir this all together. Does it matter? Does it need to be all the powder gone? Yes. Okay. This is like the dumplings of a so you did a peach cobbler or something the bread. This is what this is. Oh this is the breading of it. Okay. That's why I said you sell fries and flour. Mm. Using mussels and get it all stirred up good. Oh it's looking good. Okay. Now, let that sit there for a minute. Okay. You're going to take a another bowl. Another bowl. One and 1half cups. Of sugar. Of sugar. Yup. Wave more sugar? Yes. Yes. And what are we doing? More sugar for it. Oh, you'll see in a minute. Then go ahead and be using your use your thing a little mix. Whisk. Looks good Jameson. And this here measuring cup is a fourth soap. Okay. And we need a half. There's two of those. Dump. Just mix it up. Okay. Get that mix up that sugar real good. I don't need a help. Oh you don't need my help. Yes. You almost got it. Alright so that's all whipped up and nice. Now what do we do Kim? Can take your thing out. And then you take this. You take your liquid. Mhm. Dumplings a lot huh? And you just put it in all this. Oh, wow. So you just take your dumplings and chocolate. I think they're pretty much just chocolate dumplings, right? Yes. It's delicious. I know that. Yeah, it looks. You're getting all up in here. I don't I don't want to lick waste any now. Mm mm. This stuff one, y'all taste it. Mmm. It is delicious. Good. I've got all that out. We got this chocolate. Jameson, you want to lick this spoon. You lick the spoon. Okay, let me borrow this. That looks good. Okay. Now, and then you take your little powder, your sugar powder. I do it. No, this let me do that because I'm going to put hot water and I don't want you to get burned. You take it. Doesn't matter how you do this. You just scatter it all over. Scatter it. This is just sugar and cocoa powder. Yes. So this dish is just pretty much sugar, right? If you're diabetic, you might want. Sugar and bread. Hey, this one right here. Okay, we'll get it on. And I know it does look like, oh my goodness, how much are you? But you use a whole bowl. Sprinkle it across. Whole bowl of sugar? Well, all this cup and a half of sugar. Oh my gosh. That's a lot. Oh, but you can taste it and I do that. Then, next, your final step is take two and 1/ 4 cups of hot water. Extra. So, you just got. Boiling water and I have. Boiling water? Yeah, I have got handy feature so I can use it. Nice. And there's two. Boiling water. So you take your boiling water. Uh huh. And pour it on top. Oh. What is that supposed to do? Not sure other than makes it delicious. Mm hmm. It's really gets the like I went through a hot fudge cake before. Mm hmm. All that good juicy. Mm hmm. And then what do we do? We take it with vanilla. Do you have to cover it or anything or? Place it in the oven. Uncovered. Uncovered at 350 degrees. Mm hmm. For about forty, 30 to 40 minutes. I think at least forty. Blair, excuse us. Excuse us, Blair. Our helpers. Okay. And there we go. That's in there. And we're going to set it for thirty. Check. Alright. Now remember Let's open the oven. Oh my god. Oh my gosh. You can just smell. Oh goodness. Oh burn your fingers. Yeah. So I got. Oh my gosh Kim. Afterwards you burn yourself. Yes buddy. That looks really good. Delicious and now look. That looks good. It smell good. It does smell good. You see it? Hot. Oh. Yeah. See that? Oh my gosh. That's and then you drizzle this over it. And I Chocolate Cobbler. Wow.
