Even larger than the Boeing 314 was the Saunders Princess. It never flew more than 100 hours and all three prototypes were broken up in 1967, 20 years after they were built and had been siting around rotting for all that time. It's a major shame that none were saved for a museum. These massive planes were among the biggest things to ever fly on earth.
