Lacecap Hydrangea - Most people prefer the snowball-type of hydrangea, but I like the lacecaps. Like all hydrangeas, their color is affected by the acidity of the soil. They are easily grown from cuttings. Because they are seldom sold in nurseries, when I saw one I liked, I would knock on the door and ask permission to take a cutting. If they weren't home, I would still (naughty me) take one.
