Denbigh Mental Asylum, Denbigh, North Wales, UK - was built in 1848 and could house over 1,500 patients and 1,000 staff. It closed in 1995. Much of the interior has been stripped down to nothing but the walls, ceilings and floors, while vandals have filled those surfaces with graffiti, broken most windows and left garbage throughout. All but the main building a scheduled for demolition. Activity includes strange noises, footfalls and slamming doors.
