Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge

This month's challenge for the Create, Challenge, Encourage stamp club was a "Tic-Tac-Toe" challenge. You pick three things that are in a row, either across, down or diagonally, to use on your card. I chose the last row going down for my card. My blue color was Night of Navy. I used a scalloped punch and navy and white checked ribbon. Two stamps sets were used. The first stamp was from the set called "Thoughts and Prayers". I would have to say that this stamp set is a real classic. It has…

Best Birds Wood Texture Masculine Birthday Card - Aromas and Art

The inspiration for today’s card is the Paper Player’s Tic Tac Toe challenge. I’m choosing the right row down, because I like the idea of a masculine, bird card with twine. I had previously colored (Stampin’ Blends) my bird (Best Birds Stamp Set), and cut him out (Birds & Blooms Die Set), so he is […]

Up, Up and Away Birthday PP342

Hi friends! The fabulous Jaydee has a fun Tic-Tac-Toe challenge for us this week at The Paper Players. We can choose any three options either across, down or diagonally: So, we have a lot of May birthdays in our family. In fact, there are three just next week alone! One of them is my sweet MIL and using the top row--circle, green & twine--this is the card I made for her: A few years ago, my sweet in-laws took our whole family on a safari in Tanzania for their 50th wedding anniversary. How…

Three Cheers for Sale-A-Bration - Flowering Fields - Lisa's Stamp Studio

This May Bob the Builder, Boo and I are headed to Ireland. Ireland has been on our bucket list for many years but the sheer cost of flights and hotels was out of our reach. That was until I earned the Stampin' Up! Incentive trip to the Mediterranean. For a very reasonable cost, we are […]

tic-tac-toe watercooler adventure

I think I kind of cheated at tic-tac-toe at the Watercooler this week, if that's possible. I have such a difficult time choosing from so many options, you know? We were attending a graduation open house yesterday, for the only two graduates we know this year. We know them from completely different areas of our lives, but they know each other and had a combined party - isn't that unusual? It made our lives easier to only attend one party, though, so we thanked their mothers for being so…

Tuesday! So glad that Monday is over with! How do you manage children at two different places at staggering times without making numerous trips home? Wesley has football right after school until 545PM, and Taryn has dance/gymnastics until 630PM. Neither of which runs on time some days! It makes my distaste for Monday's even stronger! Click Here For Challenge Details This week with Stamp Ink Paper we have an awesome Tic Tac Toe for you all to play along with. I can't wait to show you what I…

Can't get enough of Halloween Treat Tubes | Fancy Friday Blog Hop

This month's Fancy Friday Hop is all about 3D projects. So your mind is going to be blown. I was in a hurry to play with these treat tubes from Stampin' Up! because I truly feel like they are going to sell out - get them while they are HOT! To create quick tags, I quickly stamped this word image in the shape of a cat. And yup - that's a cat punch. Honestly - two seconds and you are done. Wam. Bam. Thank you Ma'am. If you fell in love just like I did, this is the Spooky Cat bundle that you…

Retro Rubber Challenge 111...

Welcome to a new Retro Rubber Challenge! Since it is a tic tac toe challenge I naturally went for the one layer card, birds and sponging. I started by using a leaf stencil and sponged peach parfait and peekaboo peach inks for the color. This beautiful bird stamp and a...
