Frank "The Enforcer" Nitti (1886 - 1943) was an extremely close associate of Al Capone and lived here at 712 Selborne Riverside, IL Unlike in the movie "The Untouchables", he was not thrown from a roof by Elliot Ness. Nitti took the coward's way out. In 1943 March 19th, he shot himself in the head while he walked near train tracks north of his Riverside home. It took him three bullets to get the job done.
