Container gardening can happen in the winter months too! This great design uses simple garden elements to make a long-lasting winter urn.

Gorgeous planters for the winter - I'm definitely gathering up these leaves and branches next fall, and doing my front porch planters: birch branches, magnolia leaves, eucalyptus seed pods, cotoneaster berries, cedar, hemlock and pine branches. They also used dried mintola (mintolla?) balls, which you can find by mail order.
