Combination of the main color of 2025 with others. The Pantone colour of the year is announced each December. Whatever colour is chosen, it’s usually one with a definite personality that elicits some kind of response. So the reveal of this year’s colour – brown – presents itself as a bit of an anomaly; brown being a colour that doesn’t tend to produce much of a response at all. Of course, it’s not just any brown: PANTONE 17-1230 Mocha Mousse, as it is formally known, is described by the Pantone Color Institute as “a warming rich brown hue” that “nurtures with its suggestion of the delectable quality of cacao, chocolate and coffee, appealing to our desire for comfort”. Mocha Mousse (17-1230) is the Pantone 2025 Color of the Year. “It's a beautiful color to look at.
