A $2.50 shower liner. Most are clear and barely noticeable. Try centering the liner around the cat pan area. Then from the baseboard, give yourself about 18" up the wall. Thumbtack to secure. Do the same around the surrounding walls. Pull the bottom out as far as you can while keeping the corners snug (you may have to use more thumbtacks at corners). Place pans on top.
