Johnny Weismuller Tarzan Call
Johnny Weismüller, 1904-1984, born in Temesvar or Timisoara, which was then part of Hungary, but is today in Romania. He was a successful olympic swimmer, winning 5 gold medals in the 1920s. He is best remembered as Tarzan, and certainly created an archetypal Tarzan yell!

Laszlo joseph Biró, who invented the ball point pen in 1938. This was not the world's first pen of course, but was the first of the modern pens we know today with a sealed internal reservoir and a thicker quicker-drying sort of ink that allowed people to write normally with less danger of smudging.
Emperor Franz Joseph, (1830-1916) emperor of Austria and King of Hungary, he became Emperor suddenly in 1848, at the age of just18, after his father Ferdinand abdicated. Although his reign saw Germany become the greater of the two Germanic powers, and he himself was plagued with tragedy as his son, wife and brother all died in the 1880s-1890s, he was quite popular in his 66 year reign.
