At 55 feet long, the three panels in Wiley’s unique take on traditional European ceiling frescoes celebrate the Black and Latino youth of the city as angels or saints in the vivid blue, cloud-filled sky. The vibrant colors and the kinetic figures give such a boost of light and dazzling energy to the famed former Penn Station, which was tragically demolished in 1963.
