I used to hate diaper cakes. Maybe it stemmed from my love of cake, yet you can't eat a diaper cake. Anyway, I hosted a baby shower and needed more decorations to go with our bird theme plus one of the preggos (there were THREE!) requested only diapers...so voila...you're gettin' a diaper cake. My opinion of the diaper cake has changed now from hate to a cautious fondness. I had fun making this "cake" and I have to admit that I would want to make another one in the future.
