These new decoding strategies are aligned with the science of reading. The strategies help students with phonics skills such as segmenting, blending, cross checking, and breaking words into syllables. Teaching the strategies is easy with the anchor charts, student bookmarks, strategy sticks, parent notes, and reflection sheets.
