Seriously, though, these are so easy to make and will definitely put a smile on your kids’ faces!  Salt Dough Recipe: 1. Combine one cup of flour with 1/2 cup of salt and 1/2 cup of warm water (the ratio is 2:1:1). 2. Roll out dough and cut out cookies. 3. Bake at 200 Fahrenheit (or 100 Celsius) for 2.5 hours. That’s it. So easy! once boiled, most of the flowers do stay on but there are casualties and it's just not quite as pretty once they are cooked but i haaad to try it once last year 😅

i much prefer laminating the flowers, like nasturtiums or pansies, herbs like basil and taragon, in between two sheets of pasta dough (not just on top like this paccheri). it's a fun way to use your garden goodies!
