Formal military attire

The U.S. Army full dress uniform from the 1920s to the present. I am attending a black tie ball in the evening, thus the full size medals and bow tie. The Dress Blues can alternatively be worn with ribbons and a neck tie. This uniform also served as the service uniform from 2008 until the reintroduction of the World War II era "Pinks and Greens" in 2020. My biggest reservation with this version was the unflattering addition of the name plate.
