Although playing in the sand at the beach is beneficial for children, if you don't have time to take them there, you can create a sandbox for them to play in at home. This will provide them with the same sensory experience and allow them to explore and use their imaginations. Building a sandbox is relatively simple and only requires a few materials. Plus, it can be a fun weekend project for the whole family to enjoy.
