Haley Gayoski. Due Date: November 4, 2018. I like the idea of organizing supplies by group table numbers. By color coding the bin, students will be able to quickly grab their bin for their table. This will hold students responsible for the items in their bins such as scissors, pencils, glue sticks, etc. By having supplies readily available in the bins, students will not have to walk throughout the classroom, which might create disruptions/distractions.

Which do you prefer in a Grade 1 classroom--desks or tables? I have had both and I have to say that I prefer tables all the way. Desks just accumulate too much clutter. Also, I always had my desks in groups and I hate how they always moved and shifted and never stayed in the same spot! I find tables promote more cooperation and community.
