The pattern is knit top-down, with only minimal finishing. The sleeves are knit in the round. This is a very quick and easy knit! Other yarn suggestions: Cascade Eco+ (used on Jacket shown on photo), or any other yarn with a light bulky or heavy worsted weight (14 to 15 st per 4 inches on US 10) NOTE: Cascade 128, which was originally recommended, can be used but some knitters have had problems with pilling and yarn “growing” after blocking. Approximate yardage: Jacket (short) version: approximately 200 (250, 300, 350, 400, 450) yds or 183 (229, 274, 320, 366, 411) m. Coat (long) version: approximately 250 (300, 350, 400, 500, 550) yds or 229 (274, 320, 366, 457, 503) m.
