This is also a good activity if you have reluctant writer too because it’s less daunting than a big piece of blank paper. On a strip of cardboard I wrote ‘The’ for the starter then added the coloured squares so Emilia could match the adjective,noun, adverb, verb, prepositional phrase to form a sentence."
