Melkor morgoth

At the moment this is the final design that I will use for Morgoth in my future illustrations of the Silmarillion. You can see the design with helmet and without helmet and some details. In this illustration I have put on the face of Morgoth the scars left by Thorondor.

One of the most violent clashes between the Good and the Evil took place during the ancestral Years of the Trees. The Valar waged war against Melkor to safeguard the Elves that had by then awakened and to deprive the Dark Lord from his total dominion of Middle-earth.
