Description I’ve just finished reading the ‘Peculiar Children’ trilogy by Ransom Riggs consisting of ‘Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children,’ ‘Hollow City’ and‘Library of Souls’ and very good books they are indeed with fascinating vintage photography used to illustrate the story of a children’s home trapped in a time loop in the 1940′s and its peculiar residents who wish to protect it from monsters. i'm not really given to editorializing about my photos, so i'm not sure where this title for this photo came from. it could have been Ransom Riggs who titled it, as i found the scan contained in an email he sent me. anyway, Ransom liked the photo enough to scan it when he came to visit me, and he's going to use it in his novel "Hollow City," which is coming out towards the middle of January. there's a nice little article in today's New York Times art section, and they used this photo as one…

In 2016, the movie Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children was released and two of its minor character were "The Twins". The pair never were given their own names and never were said to have any relation to Medusa, but they have the same ability to turn people to stone with a glare. This is why they have the masks on their heads to avoid doing this.
