I’m a sucker for vintage chairs and my favorite thrift shoppe always has such cute ones! I had the idea to make this after seeing a gorgeous one on Pinterest. I bought this chair for $4. I removed the seat and luckily had a pot at my house that was big enough to fit inside of it. I filled it with some extra plants and flowers that I already had (I bought too much for a different planter.) Becks Doyle on Instagram: "What are the little trees in your baskets? I get asked this daily! I planted these up when we finished the house in 2018 and 8yrs later they are still as popular as ever. I love seeing you guys replicate them in your gardens. To know I have inspired you in some small way means the world to me. I have planted a Bay Tree in every other pot on our decking, in between my Hydrangea baskets. And I underplant each Bay Tree with White Petunias. I add 6 little Petunia plugs in May usually, once all danger of frosts have passed. I water when needed, and feed with seaweed extract every four weeks. Then I watch them grow and grow. And they provide months of joy and happiness to me.
