The beginning of the smear campaign by a NARC who is downright insecure, jealous & envious. It could be that you're getting more attention than the narc, or that the person they're trying their hardest to control is "neglecting" them to spend more time with you (I'm not talking about an affair here). That was THEIR CHOICE to begin with... it's called FREE WILL. Don't blame the one that came around (not knowing YOUR issues). The smear campaign is a FORM OF BULLYING, & "divide and conquer".

I have always wondered this- if people talk bad about someone to you, what makes you think they aren't saying snarky remarks to others about you? Watch what and who you say things to. It's not nice to gossip.
