Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon received many incredible gifts prior to her wedding in 1923 we including The Strathmore Rose Tiara from her father The Earl of Strathmore. The tiara was made in the late 19th century and purchased by the Earl at Catchpole and Williams in London. The tiara is designed as a wreath of five roses and set with rose cut diamonds.
