Despite the crappy weather I got out briefly with my new camera today. There's an area on my way to work with a ton of skunk cabbage blooming that I've had my eyes on for the last week or so. It's really swampy and I didn't get far. I'll be back with either rubber boots or a full wetsuit, which would look ridiculous. The skunk cabbage stinks, my new camera (a used Canon 5D Mark II) doesn't. Manual focusing using live view is nice!
