Spyro dragons

SMASH THEM, SPYRO! It's official- I've been working on character design work for the upcoming Spyro: Reignited Trilogy, and this here design of Bubba the elder dragon is the first officially released piece of concept art I did! As a long time fan of Spyro the Dragon, this is a project that is near and dear to me. I would play Spyro with my mother every day for years, and when Spyro Reignited launched, we stayed up all night playing it together. When I saw Nicholas Kole's concept for an adult Spyro, I had to make it. Coming in at 38k tris (including Sparx) I tried to stay true to the vision of not just the concept artist, but the design language of the animators and 3d artists who worked on Reignited. I made…
