Intricate yarn art design

I started with a sketch on paper and then placed it on top of a canvas (from the £ shop). Then I pricked over the design with a pin. I used the holes to backstitch over the design in black and added fabric scraps for pops of colour.

Embroidery is an art that cultivates a special sensibility that comes from using the hands to create something captivating. It can be considered a rhythmic composition assembled stitch after stitch.

🎨BriBri's Crafty Corner🌈 on Instagram: "Okay… hear me out. 😆 Y’all should know by now that I’m always experimenting and trying out new concepts. Well, when I was working on my bag, I liked how the fabric was bending and folding. That inspired me to try out sculpting. The piece I was working on yesterday wasn’t coming out how I wanted it to, so I destroyed the canvas and saved the pieces. Putting this together felt like a puzzle… but I like the end result. 🙌🏾 I think I’ll try this again…
