Deb Karash....prismcolor.. But would be pretty in enamel too...and with rivets.
Thanks to Meredith Arnold, I wanted to try etching. I had everything I needed to start: metal (copper and nickel silver) disks, PCB Enchant (ferric chloride), Staz-On ink with rubber stamps, black ultra-fine Sharpie, washing soda, gloves...
Armadillo pin/pendants. Bottom one SOLD. Tails move up and down. I lived in Argentina from the age of 11 to 20. Spent a lot of summers on an estancia in the south and would often horseback ride with this old gaucho. We had a lot of adventures together, one of them being catching armadillos and eating them. I'd never do that now, but that was a different time and place. They tasted like a cross between ham and chicken. #armadillos #glassonmetal #vitreousenamel #kristinholeman #cloisonne
Instagram media by kristinholeman - #2 in the Vulture series. This is a white vulture with cloisonne wings, an Arizona Blue Lightning stone from @davidhunter01, opal eye, set in oxidized sterling silver. Pendant with chain. Sorry for all the pics today but I have 2 shows coming up in the next few weeks, so they're coming fast and furious! Only 1 more vulture to go. #artrider
