Kingdom of Hungary (1920-1944), ca. late 1930s: "Délvidék Visszatér!" ("Return the southern territories"). Hungarian irredentism. Refers to varying areas in the southern part of the Pannonian Plain administered by the Kingdom of Hungary (Austro-Hungarian Empire) before 1918. Today, these areas are divided between Croatia (northern part), Serbia (mainly Vojvodina region), Romania (Banat), Slovenia (Prekmurje) and Hungary (Baranya, Bácska and Bánát).
