Small Tlingit 19th century pipe, probably made of gunstock wood. The tobacco went into the top, you drew from a hole on the back. It's Raven of course in a transformed state (note his human ears in addition to his bird ones, though real ravens have neither in such obvious ways). His talons/hands surmount a human head in front, his wings occupy the sides and his tail with a face covers the lower back.
