Grandchild of Queen Victoria - Princess Alice, Countess of Athlone (1883 – 1981). Longest-lived Princess of the Blood Royal of the British Royal Family & the last surviving grandchild of Queen Victoria. Her father was Prince Leopold, Duke of Albany, the youngest son of Queen Victoria & Prince Albert. Her mother was Princess Helena of Waldeck and Pyrmont. She married her second cousin once-removed, Prince Alexander of Teck, the brother of Princess Mary, (later Queen Mary, consort of George V)
