The Waves, by Virginia Woolf (designed by Angus Hyland and Masumi Briozzo at Pentagram)

Penguin commissioned Angus Hyland and his team to design a new series of five of Virginia Woolf’s major works in hardback editions. The designs reference authentic period elements but do so in an entirely contemporary manner.


He wakes up one morning and he is a giant bug. He is concerned about missing work. His family cannot handle his change and are greatly disturbed by him.
