5 ways to sand corners and tight spaces on wood furniture!
When my other nightstand restoration went viral, the most common question on both Instagram and TikTok was “how do you sand in the cracks/corners/tight spaces?” So here are 5 ways to sand places that your sander doesn’t reach! 1. By hand. Like they say, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. This gives you the most control but also really hurts your finger nails lol 2. Wrap sandpaper around an old credit card or gift card. I have no idea where I learned this trick, but I use it alllll the time! It’s great for the crack where two pieces of wood meet. 3. Carbide scraper. I didn’t have one of these until a few months ago, and let me say - it’s a game changer. Awesome for scraping paint, stain, and varnish, and also for scraping corners and joints.
