Bee Anatomy- The Parts of A Bee
There are four versions of a bee anatomy worksheet below to differentiate for different grade levels/different ability levels (I teach K-5th grade). Each version comes in black and white and in color. I recommend using the word tracing with kindergarten, cut/paste with 1st and 2nd grade, and fill in the blank with 3rd grade and up.This is a wonderful activity to go along with many topics, as bees are important pollinators and also have fascinating life cycles and behaviors. I've included some facts about bees and the parts of a bee so that you and your students can learn about the function of each structure as you label them. I typically start class by asking the students what they already know about bees. Next, we will go through and label them together, and I will share some information
