Suffering from early-stage dementia, former Chicago Bears quarterback Jim McMahon told Fox affiliate WFLD-TV during an interview on Wednesday that he wishes he played baseball rather than football. The 6-foot-1, 195 pound McMahon, who the Bears took out of Brigham Young University with the fifth pick in the 1982 NFL Draft, is one of more than 2,400 retired players suing the NFL for concussion-related dementia and brain trauma.
