Slugging has taken over TikTok, and for a good reason. It not only helps lock in moisture, but helps your skincare products sink into your skin rather than evaporate. To slug, all you need is Vaseline or Aquaphor, an occlusive that locks in moisture. On a scale, petrolatum is the most occlusive product you can use, followed by oil, squalane, and shea butter, in that order.
