MBTI and Enneagram correlation: Interesting how the correlation differs depending on the author; however, this inconsistency does lend weight to the fact that there are subtypes among MBTI type--and people are idiosyncratic, lest we forget!
NEW SERIES: the next 9 days we will discuss the direction or number (type) each type moves toward during times of stress. I will also show a few characteristics that each type might exhibit when they are under stress. This information is SO helpful when we: 1) remember that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ 2) see how this part of the Enneagram is a valuable resource to us because it shows us when we are struggling and need Christ. It's a helpful warning.
When each type is growing (knowing, believing and resting in their identity in Christ) they take on the HEALTHIER qualities of the number these arrows are pointing to (this is the opposite direction from under stress). We cannot get to this place by our own strength. We get there by seeing our need and asking the Holy Spirit to enable these healthier qualities to be INTEGRATED into who we are so that He is glorified. It is when we are desperate for Him, that we start to grow.
