Leah Friedlander on Instagram: "My class this week played around with triangle, trikonasana. I led my class through a bunch of versions - fallen, standing, with arms floating, reversed, even on its side in ardha chondrasana. Finding fun and freedom in the more traditional yoga shapes is something I love. Building a through line in class with a focus on one pose is also a creative outlet for me. What versions of triangle do you like to teach or do? #accessyoga #comeasyouare #yogateacher #yogasequence"
Kimberlea Smarr on Instagram: "😮💨Oh Chaturanga…what a hard but great and misunderstood pose! 💪🏻I’m going to address this posture over the next couple of weeks so that we can really come up with a clear understanding of how to move with strength and the symphony of support of the entire body. 🙏🏻I’d love to hear from you in the comments below! Remember, I have a YouTube channel as well that I think you’d love. 🇬🇷My retreat to Greece is in October and is now open for enrollment! This was the warm-up for NOT GOOD AT MORNINGS, a Flowity Flow from a few weeks back! 🌅 It set the tone for class by hinting at everything coming up in the sequence, keeping my students engaged and interested right from the start. It checks all the boxes for a solid warm-up: ✅ Hamstring lengthening ✅ Core activation ✅ Gentle backbends ✅ Subtle previews of what’s ahead It also works beautifully as a grounding sequence in a gentle or basics class. Save this for the next time you need a though...
