During our flight from Mallorca back to Amsterdam, we encountered some very active thunderstorms. We where able to cross the storms at FL360. It was magnificent! We just crossed between 2 active cells, lightning was all around the clouds. * there is a relative high amount of noise, but it wasn’t possible to capture the...

“Riding the storms – Boeing 738 Cockpit view” During our flight to the Greek Island Kos, we encountered a few active CB’s over Serbia. I quickly fixated my camera and took a few shots. This is one of the successful shots. You can clearly see how active the thunderstorms where. Lighting up the dark night.

A nice close-up of our new split scimitar winglets on the Boeing 737-800. This extra little fin, aiming downwards, safes us an other extra 1-2% of fuel on each flight. Meaning less costs and more important, it means less fuel consumption so we have a smaller footprint on nature.
